Micromax launches the quad-core Canvas Tab for Rs. 16,500

After the Micromax big success with its Canvas series, Micromax has given its brand name to the tablet. Aiming the youth, the domestic handset maker Micromax now had launched its first ever tablet PC in its Canvas series for Rs 16,500 & it is obtainable in stores all across India as of now.  With this latest launch of the Canvas Tab, the Micromax Company is trying to consolidate its position in tablet category. The Company has attempted to bring a swing of most recent hardware & software features that present enhanced & seamless user experience with this Canvas Tab. This 8-inch Canvas Tablet comes operational with a 1.2 GHz quad core CSP, having 1GB of RAM & runs on Android operating system 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Micromax has launched its initial best tablet in Canvas series, named it as the Canvas Tablet P650. Till now the domestic handset maker is producing tablets under its Funbook range. The novel Canvas Tablet has been introduced at Rs. 16,500 & is available in stores. The new Canvas tab is fitted in a complete aluminum body & boasts of sleek & thin design. This Canvas Tab is a 3G tab having the voice calling feature & has a 5 MP front & 2 MP rear cameras. Additional features of this Canvas tab is it runs on Android 4.2.1 OS (can be upgradeable over-the-air) & has a 4800 mAH battery. The tab also comes with free flip cover.

Micromax Canvas Tablet P650 has an 8” IPS display. Canvas tablet has 16GB inbuilt internal storage which can be increased to 32GB using a microSD card. The Tab runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS & is as well upgradable via a FOTA (firmware over the air). The Canvas tablet is fitted with a 5 MP Autofocus rear camera whereas there is as well a 2 MP front camera onboard.

Micromax Canvas Tab P650 arrives with SIM support & also has voice-calling, on the other hand, the Micromax Company has not yet detailed whether the Tab supports only single SIM or is a dual-SIM device. The Tab’s 4800mAh battery is said to deliver up to 5 hours of browsing time. The Tab’s connectivity options comprise 3G, Wi-Fi, and GPS & Bluetooth.

Micromax Canvas Tab P650 is priced at Rs. 16,500 and will be released soon.

The Canvas Tab comes with a number of features which are initially launched on the Micromax Company’s flagship Smartphone, such as the Canvas 4, like Pop-up Browser, Video Pinning, and Look away to pause the video. The pre-loaded apps on Canvas Tab comprise M! Security, Spuul, Opera Mini, Music Hub, Kingsoft Office & M!live Store. Micromax Canvas Tab will be obtainable in 2 colors, White & Blue. Micromax Canvas Tab P650 comes with a video player where the user can watch the video & simultaneously preview one more video with ease (multiple video view), the video will be paused when the user is not looking at screen (look away pause), or as well use the alternative of video pinning to carry on surfing on the Canvas Tab as the video continue to run, the Canvas Tablet promises higher application performance.
